MBUX

Alfa Laval MBUX industrial centrifuges are designed for recovery of yeast and bacteria in pharmaceutical and probiotics applications. These pharmaceutical centrifuges are available in different sizes and require relatively little energy to recover concentrated solids. The concentrated biomass flows through a set of nozzles into the center of the centrifuge, where it is pumped out under pressure using a paring device. This closed configuration also enhances hygiene.

MMB

The Alfa Laval MMB is a solids-retaining centrifugal separator. It maximizes efficiency by cleaning continuously and having a large space for sludge collection.

Once through steam generator

Alfa Laval’s unique once through steam generators set a new standard for compact performance, combining the functionality of an economizer, evaporator, superheater and steam drum into a single, fully integrated unit. They can operate under a wide range of conditions, even at loads as low as 5%. This, in addition to the compact size and excellent reliability under highly cyclic operating conditions, makes once through steam generators the ideal choice for small to mid-scale energy storage systems

Packinox

A Packinox heat exchanger is ideal for demanding heat recovery duties in processes with high pressures and temperatures. A Packinox enables higher yield and recovers more heat than a shell-and-tube solution, resulting in better ROI and a lower environmental impact. Packinox is also available as plate-and-frame configuration.

Pharma-line

Pharma-line is a high-quality shell and tube heat exchanger for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. The leak-proof design and smooth surface finishes help protect against contamination and are ideal for the strictest hygienic conditions in applications such as Water-for-Injection (WFI), heating and cooling, Purified Water (PW) and product heating/cooling. In addition, the shell and tube heat exchanger can be mounted on the floor, wall or ceiling and comply with USP and cGMP requirements.

Pharma-line Point of Use

A compact module developed for point of use cooling in pharmaceutical water systems. The Pharma-line Point of Use module for the pharmaceutical industry is designed as a subloop in hot water systems keeping it sanitized when not in use.
