Aalborg EH-W
The Alfa Laval Aalborg EH-W is a flow-through electric heater, ideal for heating technical treated water. It is also available in a design applicable for bilge water, or as an outflow suction heater or tank-mounted immersion heater. Its heat load capacities range from 15 to 486 kW, with design conditions up to 10 bar(g) and 95°C. The standard Aalborg EH-W heater design is approved by all major marine classification societies and is CE/PED approved.
Aalborg MD
The Aalborg MD-T is a shell-and-tube heat exchanger for heating seawater, ideal for tank cleaning. It handles a seawater flow of 180–380 m3/h using steam as the heating medium, with design conditions of 16 bar(g) and 204°C. The Aalborg MD-T is approved by all major marine classification societies and is CE/PED approved.
Aalborg MX
The Aalborg MX is a compact shell-and-tube heat exchanger with U-tubes, ideal for heating oil or water. It uses either steam or thermal oil as the heating medium. Its heat load capacities range from 10 kW to approximately 2000 kW, with design conditions (shell/tube) either up to 16/16 bar(g) 160/204°C or 32/19 bar(g) 195/212°C. The Aalborg MX is approved by all major marine classification societies and is CE/PED approved.
AC
With the integrated but flexible DynaStatic distribution system, Alfa Laval AC brazed heat exchangers can provide high performance in evaporation and condensing duties. In many cases, this performance can be 20-40% greater than comparable heat exchangers without a distribution system. This offers big advantages both for reversible systems and when defrosting is key to the application. Alfa Laval has specially engineered the AC line for air conditioning/refrigeration chiller applications and heat pump applications. Common duties include dry expansion evaporators for cooling water or glycol, condensers for rejecting or recovering heat to water, economizers, subcoolers, and desuperheaters.
ALB
The Alfa Laval ALB bottom-mounted agitator is suitable for atmospheric and pressurized tanks and comes in a range of sizes. The modular design and choice of size ensures an agitator fit-for-purpose so you won’t have to invest more than needed and can look forward to optimal power consumption. The ALB agitators are designed for easy CIP and can also be for use in sterile/aseptic and ATEX-certified applications.
AlfaCond
Alfa Laval AlfaCond condensers are specifically designed for condensing of vapour under vacuum. These plate surface condensers are ideal for use in applications such as vacuum condensers in evaporation systems, ethanol condensers in bioethanol plants, pan vapour condensers in sugar refineries, and as turbine condensers in small power plants. With its compact design, AlfaCond is easy to install where space is crucial.

AlfaNova GL50 is a high-efficiency heat exchanger for the most demanding gas-to-liquid applications. Featuring our patented AlfaFusion technology, the AlfaNova GL50 can increase efficiency and minimize energy loss in fuel cells and other systems. AlfaQ
Alfa Laval AlfaQ™ heat exchangers are used for HVAC applications such as district cooling substations, ice-storage systems, data centers, and free cooling systems. The range is certified according to the AHRI Liquid to Liquid Heat Exchangers (LLHE) Certification Program which ensures thermal performance according to manufacturers’ published specifications. AHRI certification is the only global, third-party performance certification for plate heat exchangers.
