5000 – New Style Headspace Air Tester
Headspace “Air” Testers for Cans & Bottles This instrument is recommended for testing air content where greater speed and accuracy is required. It is automatically adjustable to various size bottles and cans and is available in one and three liter sizes. The parts list and line drawing should be used for assembly and as a reference for ordering replacement parts. [Note: Headspace “air” is defined as atmospheric air picked up during the brewing process. These instruments do not measure dissolved oxygen.]
6000 – CO² Piercing Device
CO² Testers for Cans & Bottles The Zahm Model D.T. Piercing Device is used to test carbonated beverages for volumes of CO² gas in glass/PET bottles and cans. This instrument uses a dual scale pressure gauge (0-60 psi & 0-4.2kg/cm2) and an adjustable 2″ dial thermometer (25/125ºF & -5/55ºC). It is available in one and three liter sizes. The Series 6000 Piercing Device will provide rapid and accurate determination of gas volumes in alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages when used with the two pressure/temperature charts furnished with the instrument.
7000 – CO² & Headspace Air Piercing Device
CO² & Headspace “Air” Testers for Bottles and Cans This instrument is used to test beverage or product for CO² gas and air content in either glass or PET containers and cans. It is automatically adjustable to various size bottles and cans and is available in either one or two liter sizes. Two standard pressure/temperature relationship charts are furnished with the instrument for the determination of volumes of CO² gas in alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The instrument is equipped with a dual scale pressure gauge (0-60 psi and & 0-4.2 kg/cm2) and an adjustable 2″ dual scale dial thermometer (25.125ºF)
9000-R Pilot Plant
The Pilot Plant is of all stainless steel construction and designed for rugged use in the laboratory. All gauges are stainless steel 1% high accurate design. The thermometer is removable for easy cleaning of the tank. The internal carbonating stone is also removable from its sanitary quick-connect coupling for easy cleaning. The stainless steel filter cartridge disassembles easily for removal and cleaning of the filter stone (Disposable woven filter cartridges are also available). Aalborg EH
The Alfa Laval Aalborg EH is a flow-through electric heater, ideal for oil heating. Its heat load capacities range from 5 to 233 kW, with design conditions up to 16 bar(g) and 160°C. The Aalborg EH can be mounted horizontally or vertically in its standard configuration, and it is also available as an outflow suction heater or tank-mounted immersion heater. The Aalborg EH is approved by all major marine classification societies and is CE/PED approved.
