Heat Exchangers
AXPM
Alfa Laval AXPM stands for “extreme pressure,” and that’s exactly what these marine approved brazed plate heat exchangers are designed to handle. Specifically engineered for marine subcritical and transcritical applications using CO2 (R744) as a refrigerant, the AXPM line can also support other fluids that require very high pressures. AXPM units are suitable for duties ranging from heat recovery, condensing and sub-cooling to gas cooling, suction gas heating and more.
BaseLine
Alfa Laval's new Hygienic Line portfolio is designed to elevate process hygiene and product safety across various industries, including food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals. This premium range of plate heat exchangers optimizes both hygiene and energy efficiency, featuring innovative design elements that enhance cleanability and reduce fouling. The Hygienic Line includes unique features such as the SmoothPort™ for preventing buildup, Equiflow™ for uniform heat treatment, and CleanChannel™ for eff
CB
High efficiency, superior mechanical resistance and a compact footprint make Alfa Laval’s CB line of brazed plate heat exchangers ideal for demanding installations where space is limited. That’s why they have become a common replacement for other types of heat exchangers in HVAC duties, refrigeration, process heating and cooling, oil cooling, domestic hot water, solar heating and much more.
CBM
The Alfa Laval CBM line of copper-brazed plate heat exchangers for marine applications offers an ideal solution for demanding installations with limited space. The gasket-free design ensures reliable performance, with stainless-steel plates brazed in a furnace using thin copper foil in between. CBM heat exchangers can be used for duties such as BOG (boil off gas) heating and cooling, natural gas heating, oil heating, heat recovery, refrigeration intercooling and CO2 refrigeration conditioning.
CD
The Alfa Laval CD line is engineered for air dehumidification in compressed air drying applications, and is part of our complete offering of heat exchangers for the compressed air industry. Known as “combi-dryers,” these units bring together an air-to-air and air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger within one unit. This unique design ensures a compact installation with excellent thermal performance.
Compabloc
With over 30,000 units handling tough duties worldwide, Compabloc is the market champion when it comes to heat transfer. Its compact design has been engineered for superior reliability and performance, making it easy to both service and install. Plus, our Compabloc family is 3-5 times more efficient than traditional shell-and-tube solutions and secures safe operation of up to 60 bar. Learn more about our range to find out how we have improved our process sustainability with you in mind.
Compabloc Free Flow
Alfa Laval Compabloc Free Flow is a compact condenser with very high heat transfer efficiency specifically designed for the pharmaceutical industry and the high hygienic requirements of modern API production. The hygienic design, high performance, low operating costs and easy installation combine to ensure patient safety, reliable uptime and production efficiency.
Cooling Pod
Alfa Laval Cooling Pod (TM) is a-plug-and-play data center cooling system for edge data centers. It uses Alfa Laval’s energy-efficient air-cooled heat exchanger technology to keep the temperature of the servers down. The modular, containerized design maximizes flexibility, allowing users to move their data centers or add additional industrial air coolers if requirements change.
Diabon
Alfa Laval Diabon combines the highly efficient heat transfer ability of a compact plate heat exchanger with an exceptional corrosion resistance in a graphite material. The Diabon™ range offers an ideal solution for duties where metallic, glass or Teflon® plates don’t match the requirements for a corrosion resistant, easy serviceable and thermally efficient heat exchanger.
DOC
Alfa Laval DOC (dedicated oil cooler) brazed plate heat exchangers provide the same efficient heat transfer and compact construction as our CB models, but with a design that is specifically engineered for oil cooling applications. With a reinforced flange connection that withstands high vibrations, DOC units can reliably handle heavy mechanical loads that accompany engine and hydraulic applications.
