Anhydro Spray Granulizers utilize a fluid bed granulation process to efficiently convert liquids into dense, dust-free and free-flowing granules in a single-step operation.
Description
Granulation and Drying Process Overview
The feed material is introduced into the granulizer, where it is granulated and dried using heated air. Drying and cooling continue in a second step, which is carried out by a vibrating fluid bed. The powder is then conveyed to the final processing step, where it is fractionated into three categories: product, oversize and undersize. The oversize fraction is milled to the required particle size and mixed with the undersize fraction before being returned to the granulizer. The air, containing entrained fines, is separated and also recirculated back to the granulizer.
